Baking: Mia's Beach Bites
Guys, sometimes a girl needs a break from the paleo… and these beach bites are the perfect excuse! They are all kinds of naughty, and (if they last long enough) they are even better a few days later!
Super easy to make, if you’re hanging out in the kitchen cooking up a storm (me, every single day), pop the oven on and start adding these yummy layers.
Get creative! Another fun thing about this recipe, is if your base is the same (the graham crackers, the condensed milk/coconut milk, melted chocolate chips, etc), you can get a little creative and throw in anything you’ve been craving… because let’s face it, the combination of melted goodies is always a good idea ;)
I like to pop these in a little longer than the suggested time... until they're perfectly "tanned" - hehe!
Perfect post beach game treats! These treats are easy on the go too, and with everyone bringing something unique, these are a fun addition to any cookout.
Prep Time 25 mins
Cook Time 25 mins
Total Time 50 mins
12 Honeymaid Square Graham Crackers
1/2 cup grass fed, unsalted butter , melted
14 oz can sweetened condensed coconut milk
½ cup butterscotch chips
½ cup white chocolate chips
1 heaping cup heaping cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 cup chocolate chips , milk, semi-sweet or a little of both
½ cup caramel chips, optional
Place Oreo cookies in food processor and pulse until fine crumbs (it should make about 3 cups). Pour crumbs into a mixing bowl.
Add Honeymaid Graham Cracker Squares to line the base of the baking pan. Add melted butter and stir to combine. Press mixture firmly into a 9x13'' baking pan and refrigerate for 15 mins.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Remove pan from the fridge. Sprinkle butterscotch and white chocolate chips evenly over the top.
Sprinkle coconut flakes next. Top with chocolate chips and I added caramel chips too.
Bake for about 23-25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
Cut into bars or refrigerate until ready to serve. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to several days.
