Fashion: Blushing Babes
A quick little post-Valentines' update:
I was absolutely showered with surprises on Valentines and wanted to share a few of my favourite finds!
This cute little collaboration between New Balance and J.Crew created this work out top which is a part of a set that is SO fab, and so on trend for spring. It's sold separately but I'm a major fan of the matchy-matchy work out (hint: gives me more energy!).
And I loooooove these shoes as well, I have them in navy and wear them all the time (one tip would be to make sure you tie the laces extra tight for more sturdy support). I originally bought these while we were in California and could not take them off, they were so comfy and so perfect for walking everywhere!
This Valentine's Day has me blushing...pink! This year I want you to treat yourself to some R & R and some festive, trendy pops of pink.
Continuing with my cozy theme for the week, and for my love of everything PJ Party related (I go to bed at 8pm....every night *blush*), here are my current fave PJ's:
Sweet Sleepy Stripes
These pyjamas from Kip are %100 Egyptian Cotton, one of the most durable sleep sets I've owned, and my favourite part is that you can monogram them, the perfect little detail as a gift to yourself or the ones you love!
They also come in a variety of colours and even in night dresses, so there is something for everyone in every size!
I am also a sucker for a good complete set (mask included) in a fun pop of pink from Indigo. Again, love the little pipe and any excuse to get into my PJs.
Cute Cover Ups & Coats
This season is all about the trendy blush tones and covering up, so I love having a variety of options for indoor and outdoor. With a range of prices here are a few of my favourite outfit ideas, starting on the low end with high style from Forever 21. Hint: keep it simple below and use the blush as a lovely cover up. Think..running errands and hanging out on the weekend!
You want to feel like a Princess? Do yourself a favour and invest in a Sentaler coat. (Princess Kate has been pictured in this very coat in blue!) This coat is the coat for you, princesses! This quintessential Sentaler Ribbed Sleeve Coat has it all:
- Wrap coat / Belted waist / Shawl collar
- Two slit pockets at front
- Sentaler signature ribbed detail on full sleeves
- 60% superfine alpaca, 40% wool
Whether it's date night on the dance floor or an afternoon at the gym, dressing up your toes can really help put you in the mood (to eat cake or burn it off!). I'm always blinded by a pretty bow, pictured here from Club Monaco.
And if you know me, you know I am also a sucker for an excellent pair of sneakers. Nike always does it right, if you ask me.
Accessorize Your Work Outs
I'm always excited about tracking fitness and seeing your progress, and I am absolutely loving the accessories that come along with it so you can really match them to your work out style and personality. You can pick up some reading material and some accessories at Indigo. And here is the link to the actual Fitbit® Alta™, as well!
It's all in the details, and I love a good smooch or bow detail when it comes to adding feminine touches to our fashion. A little pop of red or a sweet back bow can really wow and add a little punch to your wardrobe.
This top has been one of my favourite travel staples from one of my favourite companies Jcrew (pictured in Palm Springs above), is super flattering in a gorgeous thick cotton and received lots of compliments! Hello, can't forget the bow on top! Pictured here from Club Monaco.
The Perfect Pout
Anyone who knows me knows I live in this Clairins lip gloss. I even have a lip gloss posse of girls who all swear by this ultra moisturizing tinted lip gloss. And anyone who knows me know, I generally carry a few around with me as I tend to leave them with everyone I know.
Frosting Your Tips
Pearls really are a girls best friend, and are appropriate any time of the year. These earrings from Jcrew are one of my all time favourite and I wear them to just about everything!
Happy Valentine's Day babes!
Blush on. xx Mia
